Jonah Parzen-Johnson: You’re Never Really Alone

Brooklyn saxophonist and We Jazz Records recording artist Jonah Parzen-Johnson returns to Helsinki for intimate solo “home concerts”. He performs music from his upcoming solo album You’re Never Really Alone, set to be released in the spring of 2024. Parzen-Johnson aims to take his solo concept beyond traditional venues and, at the same time, closer to his audience. The artist, who recently completed an extensive US tour explores the interaction of different performance and listening situations through his music, as well as fresh possibilities for audience and performer engagement.

The first home concert takes place at Jacita’s home in Punavuori (Punavuorenkatu 1 B). The We Jazz staff will meet the public at the front door from 5:30 p.m. The concert starts at 6:00 p.m.
