Ville Herrala

Ville Herrala’s recent solo album “Pu:” on We Jazz Records introduced an artist with a Vision. Herrala uses only the double bass, but always embarks on a sonic journey which makes you forget about instruments.

This double bill also features the young Finnish-Danish group JAF Trio who won the “We Jazz Rising Star” accolade at We Jazz Festival back in 2017. Saxophonist Adele Sauros, bassist Joonas Tuuri and drummer Frederik Emil Bülow presents music from their lauded debut album, showcasing their rhythmic, melodic and fiery “loft jazz”.
