The festival’s opening night brings us two European combos at the top of their game. Phronesis returns to Finland with a new album We Are All under its belt. Saxophonist Philipp Gropper’s Philm is a more recent acquaintance, but with a line-up featuring Elias Stemeseder, Robert Landfermann and Oliver Steidle, the first encounter is bound to be pleasant.
